Wakefield LGBT Pride 2018 Impact Survey

The results from the Wakefield LGBT Pride 2018 Impact Survey have now been released and the figures show a huge increase to our economy. The event which took place on Sunday 12th August 2018 brought 3100 people to Sun Lane in Wakefield, with many more filling out our chosen partner venues across the city.

The impact survey was launched through our social media channels after the event and 164 people responded. An average spend of the participants attending Wakefield LGBT Pride 2018 on the 12th August was £114.33 including travel and/or accommodation. The economic impact of Wakefield LGBT Pride 2018 onto the City Centre is worked out as a conservative estimate of £354,440.29.
